An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our friendly practice team. The post holder will provide support the Practice Manager in all aspects of functionality, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and overall performance, ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment.
The post holder will play a lead role in developing patient services and ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction. He/she will support the Practice Manager in the day to day operations of the practice, leading the team, promoting quality and continuous improvement, confidentiality, service delivery, learning and development and ensuring the practice complies with CQC regulations.
The post holder will have a good standard of education, previous supervisory management experience, with a management qualification (minimum CMI level 3 Diploma in Leadership & Management or equivalent).
Previous experience of working in a supervisory/management role within a GP practice and good understanding of Quality Outcome Framework (QOF) Impact and Investment Fund (IIF), Quality Premium (QP), Emis Web, NHS finance, Payroll and GP accounting systems would be an advantage.
About Us
We are a friendly, well organised 2 GP Partner Teaching practice with a practice population circa 5,000 patients. Our team also includes a Salaried GP, Practice Manager, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Trainee Practice Nurse, HCA, and excellent reception/admin teams. The practice is also supported by PCN Pharmacist, Midwife, and other health care professionals. We are part of 6 other GP practices which make up the Sunderland East Primary Care Network which has an excellent track record for collaboration, care, and support.
The practice is situated in modern premises within walking distance to Sunderland town centre and bus, rail, and metro links.
Working hours / days: Minimum 32 hours per week up to 37 hours per week (to be agreed)
Minimum starting salary: £22,524 (negotiable, depending upon experience)
