We are looking to recruit an additional full-time or part-time Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive clinical team. The practice currently consists of 3 GP Partners and 3 Salaried GPs, and this new role has been created in response to continued list growth.
You will be supported by a strong multidisciplinary team including 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 2 experienced Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate, a Healthcare Assistant, and a Clinical Pharmacist, alongside a well-established administrative team comprising of a proactive Practice Manager, secretaries, and a care coordinator.
We provide care for a growing patient population of 11,000 patients in Ryhope, on the outskirts of Sunderland. Our practice operates from a purpose-built, modern premises, currently just completing a £800k refurbishment and expansion, with excellent road links to Teesside, County Durham, and Newcastle.
Our team is committed to delivering modern, evidence-based, and safe clinical care while maintaining the values of a traditional, caring family practice. We are high QOF achievers and were rated Good overall, with Outstanding for caring, in our most recent CQC inspection.
We place strong emphasis on training and professional development, and we are proud to be a GP Registrar and Medical Student training practice. We are also active participants in our Primary Care Network (PCN) and local neighbourhood working initiatives.
